The Gladiator GSS-500 is a high-capacity, dual-stage separation system engineered to recover and clean drilling fluid for large HDD projects. It delivers primary processing capacity up to 2,202 GPM with secondary separation down to approximately 30 microns.
View SpecsThe GSS-500 combines a dual-layer shale shaker deck, dual 20-inch hydrocyclones and a dedicated fine-solids recovery package in one transportable system. Returned drilling fluid moves through primary and secondary separation stages to remove drilled solids while recovering usable bentonite fluid.Cleaner recycled fluid helps maintain drilling performance, reduce dilution requirements and extend the service life of downhole tooling. The integrated 20-foot open-top tank provides 3,000 gallons of active fluid capacity, with optional buffer tanks available for larger crossings and demanding rock-drilling applications.

Gladiator HDD Separation Systems
An HDD separation system removes drilled solids from returned drilling fluid so usable bentonite fluid can be recovered and recirculated. This helps maintain fluid quality while reducing dilution and replacement requirements.
The GSS-500 provides primary processing capacity up to 2,202 GPM, equivalent to approximately 500 m³/h.
The primary stage separates solids down to approximately 60 microns. The secondary fine-solids recovery package provides separation down to approximately 30 microns.
The integrated tank provides approximately 3,000 gallons of active fluid volume. Additional Gladiator buffer tanks can be incorporated when greater capacity is required.
he system requires 480-volt, three-phase, 60 Hz power. A 250 kW generator is the recommended minimum, while a 300 kW generator provides additional reserve capacity.
